Debra Vilen is a visual artist whose studio is in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. She creates abstract landscapes which are inspired by the natural world. Her early color work captures the effects of time and the elements on the American Icon, the automobile. Her more recent works are studies in light and form which capture the fleeting quality of the elements themselves. The works are printed in small editions using both traditional and digital methods in her Dumbo studio.
